Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc | TechTipsnReview

Announced at the Mobile World Congress a couple of months back, the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc is a beauty.

The Xperia arc’s fascia is dominated by a glorious 4.2 inch touch sensitive capacity screen capable of displaying 16 million colors. The screen has to be one of the better ones we’ve seen recently and you really have to see it in person to truly understand how beautiful the display is. We managed to watch a movie on the Xperia arc! That’s how beautiful it is. It might not be as nice as watching it on a proper display, but it is still bearable and that’s what matters.

The Xperia arc is shipped with the brand new Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS and this is the first time we’re using the new OS. We won’t bore you with details but it’s a really nice update from Froyo.

There is no official word on what processor is powering the Xperia arc but the device is really fast. It might be because the new Android is more efficient or it might have some super processor in it. Whatever it is, it is snappy!

The 8.1 megapixel camera at the back is in an awkward position. It might just be us but every time we try to take a picture using the camera, our fingers are always in the way. The camera button suffers the same fate as well. It is located at the very end of the frame and it made us feel that we’re losing grip of the device.

Another thing that griped us is the handling of the product. Its built quality is pretty good but it just feels a little fragile. Maybe it’s just a little too thin for barbarians like us who always drop our phones, but the phone can handle the pressure

The Sony Ericcson Xperia arc has all the qualities and its beautiful, not to mention equipped with the newest OS. The processor is really fast, and the whole device is snappy. We prefer the camera shutter button to be placed a little further from the edge though.

It is available in most countries but some countries might not have this yet , but in future they will release in all the countries officially
