Closer Look at the Remote Control
Starting from the top of the Remote Control , You could see the power button on the top left and the mute button on the top right . Note that the power button is to turn on/off the HD station not the NAS .
Below these buttons are general numeric buttons along with volume up and down buttons . Also there is a search button to search for file you want to play . Along with it there is a settings button to access the options of the HD station .
Right below them are different colored buttons , there functions are not fixed and they change according section you are in HD station .
The bottom half of the remote control contains , Four Arrows Keys along with the OK button to navigate around the HD Station and to select various things .
Below these the general Media Player buttons like play , pause , rewind , forward , stop can be found .
The concept of the remote control to control NAS is very amazing although you can use HD station with the help of keyboard or mouse , but imagine you are sitting on the couch with a distance of 15 ft. from the NAS . It would be very difficult to stand and go to NAS to control VIA mouse or keyboard . It is very convenient to control via remote control from this distance . The build quality of the remote control is amazing and the signal strength is amazing .
