Packaging
ADATA XPG V2.0 comes in fairly large packing , You can clearly see one RAM module on the front side , The second RAM module is placed on the back side of the packaging . Its very good to see transparent packaging because in this way user can actually a have a detail look at the design of the memory module before purchasing it .
Also on the packaging , Capacity and Bus Speed is mentioned . Moreover , You can clearly see on the bottom left of the front side ” Life Time Warranty ” Logo is placed which means you will be getting lifetime warranty with this particular kit .
A Closer Look at RAM
I have to say that this is one of the best looking memory kit on the market and the one major difference is its Black Colored PCB , which you dont usually see in memory modules . The overall design of the RAM is amazing , the color scheme used on the kit is also very decent . The Design of the heat spreaders is very great which allows maximum heat to be dissipated .
Another great thing about this Memory kit is that ADATA is using 2OZ Copper PCB , which gives it more stability and performance when working with heavy applications for intense amount of time .
Also you can clearly see , that near the notches “ADATA” and “XPG” are printed which also look quite sleek . Note that there are screws to remove the heat spreader incase you want to watercool these memory modules by using compatible waterblock for memory modules .
Testing and Benchmarking
The test rig we will be using to test ADATA XPG V2.0 DDR3 2400MHz 16GB Dual Channel Memory Kit is ,
- Intel Core i7 3770K CPU
- ASROCK Z77 Extreme6
- ADATA XPG v2.0 16GB 2400Mhz Memory( 2x 8GB )
- Kingston HyperX 3k 90 GB SSD
- Seasonic 1250w Gold PSU
- Gainward Phantom GTX660TI Graphic Card
The software we used is AIDA64 to test this kit as it would cover each test for memory modules . First we ran the kit on default configuration and frequency . Then We Tried to squeeze some more out of it and maximum frequency we could reach is 2572Mhz with standard timing and command rate . The timing was very well and 1T command rate was also good so no need to change them and mess with them . But for some reason we can’t over clock no more than 2572Mhz .

In the End (Conclusion)
XPG V2.0 is one of the best memory kits ever produced by ADATA . From Design to the performance , each thing is perfect .
This is one of the few kits in the market with Black PCB which most of the computer enthusiasts demand . Also the design of the heat sink is perfect . Its not that much big so that it touches the bottom of large CPU coolers like NH-D14 . Moreover in design there is no flaw .
As far as the performance of the XPG V2.0 goes , Again best performance . You can clearly see that with small overclocking we get a huge difference in latency and read and write speed which is very good . Also the 1T command rate is another great thing rather than normal 2T command rate which is obviously slower than 1T .If you are looking for extreme performance and large capacity memory kit in a decent budget , We would definitely recommend XPG V2.0 2400Mhz .
