A closer look at the motherboard

You can clearly see that this motherboard is quite different in look from B75A-G43 . MSI gave this motherboard quite a beastly look . The color scheme looks very beautiful and goes perfect with the gaming title . Also the little dragon heatsink on the chipset looks quite good . The form factor of the board is still ATX .

On the top left of the motherboard , You can see the 8 pin power connector . Just beside it are the two heat sinks which are responsible for cooling power phases . You can also see the two fan headers , One on the right side of the heat sink and other one just below the CPU socket . Note that that processor socket is LGA 1155 which means you can still use 2nd Generation processor but you will not be able to use full power of this board like PCIe Gen3 or the Extra DRAM Frequency .

On the top right side of the board , Four DIMM slots can be found . They are dual channel , so if you are using 2 modules you have to fill up DIMM1 and DIMM3  or DIMM2 and DIMM4 . They support DDR3 modules with frequency upto 2400MHz  if you are using 3rd generation processor and overclocking the default 1600MHz Module . Again you can see there are 2 fan headers on the right edge of the board . Also there is your 24 Pin Power connector . Just beneath the power connector there is USB 3.0 front panel header .

On the bottom right side , You can find the SATA data ports . There are six SATA ports . The first one on the top right is SATA III ( 6.0Gb/s ) and the rest are SATA II (3.0Gb/s ) . Also there are some front panel headers on the bottom of the board .

Again just beneath the slots there are some more front panel connectors .

The rear of the motherboard has all its I/O ports . From Left to Right , You can see there is one PS2 Mouse/Keyboard Combo port . 4 x USB 2.0 Ports . HDMI Port , 2 x USB 3.0 Ports , VGA and DVI port and 7.1 channel audio ports .

A look at ClickBIOS II

Another great feature in B75A-G43 Gaming is the ClickBIOS II which is the GUI type BIOS in which you can use your mouse as well along with the keyboard . The BIOS is very well design and give you all basic information in the very first site . On the top left , the model of the board is mentioned along with the CPU and mainboard temperatures . On the Top , Time and Date are displayed along with the details of the CPU installed and the amount of RAM and Its Frequency is shown .  Just Below these details are the Boot Devices Priorities which you can adjust according to your convenience .

Also you can see the three modes which are in the middle of the screen . ECO mode let your computer run on power efficient settings . The Standard mode helps you run the computer on normal settings . OC Genie II Mode is for overclocking , but for some reason our computer did not post into the BIOS after OC Genie II Mode was activated .

Also you can see there are 3 big boxes on left and right . which allows you to access the various portions of the bios for settings .

MSI_SnapShot

There is one section of overclocking in the bios which you can see in the below snapshot .

There are various settings to play with but be careful as you may damage the processor , memory or the main board . One thing to note that the maximum overclocking we could get by adjusting the CPU ratio was 3.8GHz as the highest multiplier present was 38 . So if you want to get more overclocking you might have to adjust base clock as well .

In the end all we have to say is that this is one of the best budget motherboard from MSI . Also the durability you get in B75A-G43 Gaming is anothing plus point , the military components used by MSI is the best thing you can get in this board . The High Quality Capacitor gives your motherboard smooth current so that your components are safe from electric shock or jerks  .

Another great thing about this board , is the color scheme which MSI implemented on this board. This surely gives the board a unique look and the dragon heat sink perfects well according to the gaming title . Also some other great features like ClickBIOS II is another great thing implemented in this board .

One thing we need to tell you guys is that this motherboard is not meant for overclocking , So what this means no matter if you install K processor you wont be able to overclock this more than 3.8GHz as the CPU Multiplier is Locked to 38 . So if you are looking for overclocking board then this board is not for you guys .

The benchmark results we got in case of the Gaming , SSD/Storage , Memory Module and CPU benchmarks are very good . It is not the best results as these benchmarks are done on stock settings because B75A-G43 Gaming does not give you enough space to overclock these settings . So according to us , on stock these are very good results which would be enough for normal users to professional workers .
