Apple has equipped some useful functions for the virtual keyboard on their tablets, but not everyone knows about it.
Press and hold the letter keys to access some special letters.
Similarly, hold down the symbol or punctuation key to see other hidden symbols.
Split keyboard: Go to Settings -> General -> Keyboard to activate. The user can then press and hold the keyboard button to split or undock.
When the keyboard splits in half, you can tap the screen to use the hidden keys as shown in the photo above (where the red letters are).
And undock means you can move the keyboard to different positions on the screen.
When composing an e-mail, hold down the punctuation key to quickly select an e-mail extension such as .com, .org…
Type the spacebar twice to both punctuation and word spacing.
