Gamers can now manually update DLSS right in the game

TechPowerUp is currently hosting Nvidia’s DLSS Client Libraries so that any individual can download and apply them immediately to the game they are playing, as long as the game supports DLSS 2.0. This will essentially allow gamers to get the latest version of DLSS working in their game, instead of passively waiting for the developers to roll out an update as usual.

TechPowerUp currently owns every version of DLSS available for download, from the first 1.0.0 to the latest 2.2.10. Notably, TechPowerUp also claims that they have “manually verified” each individual file to minimize any risk related to malware.

In DLSS-supported games, you can find the DLSS file in the game’s root directory. This file is named “nvngx_dlss.dll”. All you need to do is download the latest version of the DLSS client library from TechPowerUp, then replace the existing DLSS .dll file with the new one.

DLSS 2.0

Note that both the old and newly downloaded DLSS .dll files will have the same name, so make sure you don’t get confused. An easy way to distinguish between these two files is the size of the file. In general, the file containing the new DLSS version is usually larger.

Also, be aware that if you use a certain launcher to play the game, that launcher may automatically delete and replace the new DLSS file with the original one that came with the game from scratch if you update the game. play. So every time the game is updated you will have to reinstall the latest DLSS .dll file.

DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is an AI technology developed by Nvidia that promises to bring great graphics processing power to new generation GPU models, enhancing rendering capabilities. Graphics based on artificial intelligence.

In other words, DLSS allows gamers to get more performance without sacrificing too much image quality. It does this by running the game at a resolution lower than the native resolution (such as rendering the game at 1080p on a 4K monitor), but then upscales the image to its native resolution by using a combination of several advanced AI algorithms.
