How to change Windows 10 password with CMD (Command Prompt)

+ Step 2. This will open Command Prompt on your Windows 10 with administrative rights. On the command prompt window, enter the command net user => and press the button Enter as shown below.

+ Step 3. You should now be able to see all the user accounts present on your computer.

net user <Username> newpass

Inside:

  • Username is the User account name for which you want to change the password.
  • Newpass is the password you want to replace.

But you need to keep in mind that, if Username which has spaces, for example Blog Chia Se Kien Thuc then you must put that Username in "" Please. For example:

net user “Blog Chia Se Kien Thuc” new_password
