How to record iPhone screen

First, to record iPhone screen you need to check if the screen recording button is in the control center or not. Swipe down from the top if you’re using iPhone X or later, or swipe up if you’re using iPhone 8 or younger. The screen rotation button has a dot icon with a circle around it as shown below.

Normally, the screen recording feature is built into the control center, however, if not found, GhienCongList will guide you how to add the following:

Step 1: Open Settings (Settings) → Control Center (Control Center) → Customize Controls (Customize controls).

Step 2: Scroll down and tap the blue button with the + next to it Screen Recording (Screen Recording).

Once the screen recording button is on the control center, you can use it to record your iPhone screen at any time. Specific actions are as follows:

Step 1: Go to where you want to start recording the screen.

Step 2: Swipe down from the top if you’re using an iPhone X or later, or swipe up from the bottom if you’re using an iPhone 8 or younger.

Step 3: Press the crescent-shaped button to turn on the mode Do not disturb (Do Not Disturb), this button will temporarily pause calls and notifications to avoid distractions during screen recording. Besides, if you press and hold the Do Not Disturb button, you’ll see more options, such as turning off notifications for just an hour or scheduling when you want to pause them.

Step 4: Then, press the screen recording button, after counting down 3, 2, 1, the screen recording process begins.

Step 5: To stop screen recording, swipe up (or down) to open the control center and click the screen recording button again, or click the red bar at the top and select Stop to stop recording.

* Note: The screen recording process only records the sounds from the application being played, if you want to record other external sounds like your own… then before you start recording, long press the screen recording button and turn it on. microphone as shown below.
