How to see word count in a PowerPoint slide

To see word count in PowerPoint, you cannot do the same thing when you view word count in Word or display word count in Excel. When presenting slides, in addition to the main content, there will be additional notes in each slide. 1. How to see word count in PowerPoint Windows

Step 1:

At the interface on the PowerPoint slide, we click File section then select the item Info.

Looking to the right content you look down at the bottom at Related Documents section Click next Show All Properties.

Now Properties group has been expanded along with many other information included The number of words in the presentation is Words. In addition, you also know how many slides a presentation has and Notes is the number of notes in the presentation file.

To See word count of the notes in the slide We’ll need to open the presentation slide in Word. In the presentation slide you click File and select Export.

Switch to the new user-click interface Create Handouts, then look to the right and click next Create Handouts.

Now the dialog interface will be displayed Send to Microsoft Word to convert presentation layouts to Word. We will select as shown and click OK.

At this point, all layouts in the presentation file will be converted to Word. You will see the number of notes in the slide shown below.

With PowerPoint on Mac you can also see the total number of words in the slide, but you can’t see the number of words in the note because the Mac version doesn’t have the option to copy to Word.

In the next interface the user clicks on Statistics tab and will see the total number of words in the PowerPoint presentation.
