Step 1: Download & install

Step 2: Install Format Factory
Install Format Factory on your computer.

Click next to continue. Remember to uncheck the box “I agree to install…” so that you don’t have to install the attached software.
Step 3: Change the path (optional)
Next, click on the button Browser if you want to change the installation directory for the software. Click Install to continue with the installation.
Step 4: Complete the installation
The last step, wait until the Installation Complete message is displayed and click Close to complete the installation.
Step 5: Start the software & change language
When you start Format Factory, the initial interface will be as shown below.
However, because Format Factory’s default language is English, we can change software language to Vietnamese for easier use. In the main interface, click Language and choose Select more languages.
In the list of 65 languages, find the language Vietnamese and click OK lying on the side.
After that, the interface will change to Vietnamese, thereby making it easier for you to use.
Step 6: Set the file format
In the main interface, to reduce the video size, first select settings AVI format.
Step 7: Choose the output quality
Then the window Video Settings will appear, click on Setup (1) to install AVI extension. A new window will appear, under Account (2) choose the output quality of AVI file to XVID 720pthen click AGREE (3).
Step 8: Import the file that needs to be reduced in size
To import videos that need to be reduced in size into Format Factory, click Add files. Then, access the folder containing the video file on the device, select the file and click Open. Note, the name of the video must not contain Vietnamese accents.
Step 9: Choose a location to save the finished file
For example, the video being used in the illustration is 771.06Mb. Below you can change the location to save the finished file after exporting by clicking on the drop-down list at the bottom (next to the Output folder line) then clicking Change to save the path. Finally press Agree to confirm the setting.
Step 10: Proceed to reduce the video size with Format Factory
After that, the software will automatically go to the main interface, click on the . button Begin to reduce video size.
The software will proceed to reduce the video size, it will take a while to complete. Progress is fast or slow depending on the number of videos to export. While the export is in progress that you want to stop, tap Stop button above.
After the process of reducing video size by Format Factory is completed, the software will display a small notice board on the right side of the screen to notify users that the file compression process is complete.
