View the Wifi password connected to the computer with the cmd command

In this article I will share with you a little trick that is reviewing all the Wifi passwords that have ever connected to your computer. There are actually many ways for you to check the Wifi password, but using the command in cmd, I think not everyone knows ?

The special thing about this way is that you can watch it even when you are offline and not connected to any WiFi network. Okey, now we will go into specific instructions right away!

First you need to open windows cmd and run it as administrator. I have guided quite a lot of times, but I still remind you newber to save the search.

  • For Windows XP and Windows 7, click Start > import cmd in the search box => a list of results appears, right-click on the file cmd.exe and choose Run as adminstrator.
  • As for Windows 8 and up, you just need to press the key combination Windows + X and choose Command Prompt (Admin) is done.

After the cmd window appears, use the following command to see the name of the Wifi network that you have ever connected to. It will display a list of all the networks that you have ever joined.

Comeinand: netsh wlan show profile

Press Enter to execute the command:

As you can see in the picture above, my computer has been connected to 11 Wifi networks. Now you want to see the password of the wireless network, use the following command:

Comeinand: netsh wlan show profile tên-mạng-muốn-xem key=clear

For example, if I want to see the Wifi password of XomTro network, I will use the following command line: netsh wlan show profile XomTro key = clear


Press Enter to execute the command:

View-password-bang-dong-lenh-cmd-2

Very simple, right, so we will be able to see the Wifi password of the XomTro network in the section. Key Content That’s it ?
