[WooCommerce] Set up Yoast SEO for WooCommerce





The popular WordPress SEO plugin Yoast SEO is used by almost everyone because of its effectiveness. However, if you do not pay attention, when you install WooCommerce, it will display the title structure a bit difficult to see and in this article I will briefly talk about reconfiguring the title structure for store pages and a few saves. Remove the word “Archive” from the title

You may see the title appear with the word Archive when you visit the product’s store and archive pages. To delete, simply go to SEO -> Titles & Metas -> Post Types and find the item Custom Post Type Archives to delete.

Similarly, you go to the Taxonomies section and edit it in the product categories, product keywords, etc. In the shipping class, you should tick Noindex to limit bot access. crawl this because it has no data for SEO.

Customize sitemap

If you are using Yoast SEO’s sitemap to submit to Google Webmaster Tools, you should correct it by removing elements in the sitemap to avoid Google having to spend a lot of time crawling our website. Access to SEO -> XML Sitemaps and find Taxonomies to mark the sections you want to remove from the sitemap.
