How to enable Q&A on TikTok

The new TikTok has added a question and answer feature for accounts so others can ask you questions when visiting your profile or asking questions in a video. We will then respond to video comments on TikTok, record the video directly with the same options as when you record a normal video. All the questions we receive on TikTok will be displayed in a separate section for easy management. The following article will guide you to turn on the question and answer section on TikTok.

Instructions to turn on the question and answer section on TikTok

Step 1:

At the interface on our personal TikTok we click 3 dashes icon in the top right corner. Then you click on Author’s Tools section.

Step 2:

Now switch to the author’s options interface, click FAQ section. Then you will see what the content of this item is. Viewers will submit questions when they visit your TikTok page, or in video comments. This Q&A will be publicly visible.

Click Turn on Q&A to use this feature.

Step 3:

Go back to your TikTok account profile page and see Q&A item displayed so that others can simply click on this item to ask a question and see more questions. When someone asks The Inbox section will notify and you click on it to see which account sent the question.

Step 4:

Click the question to answer. Here when clicking Option then we will have the options as below. Translation section to translate the question if the question is in another language.

Step 5:

Click video icon to record a video replying to them. We proceed to record the video as usual. Then switch to the editing interface, you can move the question sticker to any position and insert other content if you want. After creating the video, click send to reply.
