[Woocommerce] Resize product image

Woocommerce’s default image size may not be what you want because you may want your product image to be larger or smaller. Although in the article about setting up the overview of Woocommerce, I already talked about the image setting, but maybe I need to write a separate article for you to easily find when needed, because in fact, I have seen a lot of friends. just found out need to do this.

To set the image of Woocommerce, you access the section [textmarker color=”247BFF”]Woocommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display[/textmarker] and find the item Product image.

This is the part that sets the image size that will be displayed in the product detail page. By default it will be 300×300.

When viewing a product, a large product image will appear on the left and it is a single product image.

If you have a product photo library set up, the photos in the gallery will display as thumbnails below the single photo.

Now I try to change the value a bit for it to be different.

And after changing the image size value, it is possible that the product image will not display very well and sharp, or even see the change.

In order for the changes to take effect, we must perform image resizing, which means for WordPress to re-size the image to the new size. Please install the plugin Regenerate Thumbnails enter, then access Tools -> Regen. Thumbnails and click “Regenerate All Thumbnails” to start recreating.

When it’s done, go to the website to see the results.

P/W: It is recommended to use the Image Cleanup plugin to delete files according to the old image size to reduce the burden on the host.
