How to adjust the number of notifications on the iPhone app icon

To help users know how many new unread notifications an app has, Apple has set the number of new notifications to the app icon on the iPhone’s home screen. And by default that notification number will be red. So what if you want to adjust the number of app notifications on iPhone?

Tweaking BadgeColors for jailbroken iOS devices will customize the background color of the application notification number corresponding to the application background color. So the default red color of the notification will be replaced with different colors, depending on the corresponding icon color.

Instructions to adjust the number of iPhone application notifications

Step 1:

Currently, the tweak has a free trial version on Hackyouriphone source, before deciding to buy a paid version. Users access Cydia, click Sources, click Add and then insert the source http://repo.hackyouriphone.org. Click Add Source to save.

Then click on the Search tab and then click tweak BadgeColors to install.

Step 2:

After the installation is complete, the user goes to Settings choose BadgeColors to enable tweaking. You click Enabled button to change the new notification number color to the app background color.

Always White Text is the notification text that is always left white for easy viewing.

Final press Respring to save the changes to the system.

The number of app notifications on iPhone will switch to different background color styles as below.

Instead of the default red, now the background color of the new notification number on the iPhone app icon will be different colors. The background color of the number of notifications will match the color of the application icon.
