How to turn your iPhone into a micro scale, an electronic scale

Have you ever thought of the “iPhone scale” brand? Yet, many people use their iPhones to weigh things. Based on the 3D Touch weighing application, your smartphone can only weigh light items such as fruits, vegetables, etc.

The item to be weighed will be based on the iPhone’s 3D Touch force, so your iPhone must have 3D Touch or Haptic Touch to be able to use the weighing application on this smartphone.

This scale may not help much when you go to the market, but if you are looking to measure things with small weight, you can use this scale temporarily. If you want to try this special scale, follow the instructions below.

Instructions to turn your phone into an electronic scale

Step 1: Click the add shortcut button 3D Touch Scales below, then scroll down and press Add untrusted shortcut.

If the message cannot be added an untrusted shortcut, please go out of the main interface Shortcut Keys > choose Collectionadd any shortcut > then back to My Shortcuts activate the newly added shortcut.

Next go to Settings > Shortcuts > turn on the option Shortcuts are not trusted up is fine.

Step 2: Then go to My Shortcut Keys, you will see the 3D Touch Scale shortcut in the list and click it. Next click OK.

Immediately after the scale will appear for you to try, please put an apple, banana or something similar in shape. Below you can choose the sensitivity of 3D Touch by clicking 3D Touch Sensitivity and choosing the level from Mild, Medium to Strong.

Remember that you can only weigh light things. For example, some tubers and fruits like the one below can be temporarily weighed with this scale.

This scale is only used for you to weigh small and medium things, and sometimes it will not be as accurate as the compact and lightweight scales you can carry with you.
