This is a handy new feature that’s already available for iPhone devices running iOS 13 or later. Perfect for those who don’t like receiving calls outside of their contacts.

4. Tap the words “Mute unknown calls” and change the switch to on.

You’ll still be able to receive calls from people you’ve recently called as well as people who may appear in Siri Suggestions (probably someone you emailed).

Funny enough, the iPhone offers a feature that allows you to hide your caller ID on other devices. It makes it easy to get past the barrier you are blocked by someone else with a phone number. All you need to do is hide your caller ID.

How to block unknown callers? On iPhone you can do this in Settings > Phone > Show My Caller ID > Turn Tasks Off.

Without a caller ID, the iPhone doesn’t know who is calling and therefore cannot block calls from this number. Although it will still save in the Recents section in the Phone app, it does not have a caller ID or with an Unknown name.
