Windows 11 will be announced on June 24?

At the 2015 Ignite technology conference, Jerry Nixon, Microsoft developer, said: “We are releasing Windows 10 at the moment, and since Windows 10 is the final version of Windows, we will all still be working on Windows 10.”.

This leads many people to assume that Windows 10 will be the final release of Microsoft’s iconic operating system and there will be no Windows 11 or Windows 12. In other words, in the near future Microsoft will not release it. Launch a completely new version of Windows, but only focus on perfecting Windows 10.

In fact, for the past six years, Microsoft has regularly provided improvements to Windows 10 through software updates, but this is likely to change soon.

Recently, CEO Satya Nadella confirmed, Microsoft is developing a new generation of Windows operating system and this will be “one of the most important updates”. Some people speculate this next Windows operating system to be called Windows 11.

While the upcoming Sun Valley update will be a major upgrade, it’s still just another version of Windows 10.

On June 24, there will be an important Microsoft event. Many technology followers expect the software giant to launch a new version of the operating system for desktop computers during the event. Microsoft refers to its desktop platform as “the next generation of Windows”, but the name was only revealed on June 24.

However, if you pay attention you will guess that the next generation of Windows is likely to be named Windows 11. If you look closely at the new Windows logo, instead of the familiar Windows 10 logo before, you will notice that , the silhouette falling through the window appears quite similar to the number “11”.

Also, the June 24 event kicks off at 11 a.m., so there’s likely to be Windows 11.

Earlier on June 4, well-known and trusted reporter Evan Blass also suggested that the upcoming version of Microsoft’s desktop operating system could be called Windows 11.

Microsoft hasn’t made any official announcement on whether to release Windows 11 or not. Everything is still just speculation.

The event will be held in 3 weeks and maybe the name of the new Windows version will be revealed. Let’s wait and see if it is Windows 11!
