Fixed an issue where contact names were not displayed on iOS

A bug recently appeared in iOS where it looks like all your contacts have been deleted, because the contact names don’t show up in any call or message logs on the phone. Instead, you can just see the phone number instead of the contact name. This can certainly bewilder a regular iPhone user, thinking that he has lost all his name and contact information.

Restart iPhone

1. Access the application Settings on iPhone.

2. Click iCloud ID at the top of the screen.

3. Click icloud and see the App Using iCloud. Besure that “Contacts” be activated.

In case this fixes the problem, you may need to keep iCloud Contacts turned on for the contact names to appear in the app. This is a temporary fix, which should be addressed in an iOS software update.
