Android devices can access Google Lens in different ways depending on your phone. However, the most effective way to use it on Android, iPhone or iPad is through the Google app.
However, you need a math equation first. Google Lens can solve even simple equations like “5+2” to complex formulas like “x2 – 3x + 2“. You can scan math assignments from a real-life piece of paper or on an electronic screen.

Open the app”Google” on your Android phone or tablet, iPhone or iPad. Select the camera lens icon located to the right on the search bar.
Next, please swipe through the box Homework (Homework) under the toolbar.

Point your device’s camera at the problem to be solved, making sure that the equation is inside the camera frame. When done, press the shutter button.
The first thing to do is to check that the question that appears at the top of the card is correct. You can choose ‘Steps to solve‘ to see step-by-step solving that equation. The results are shown at the bottom.
To scan another question from the same image above, select the “BILLION” on the answer card.
Next, select the equation you want to solve.
The answer will appear in the card below.
