#first. Rotate a table in Word by inserting a Textbox object

Since the table does not have a rotate button, we will insert another object, which is the outer Textbox and contains the table inside. Now when we rotate the Textbox object, the table also rotates.

How to do it, please follow me. Perform:

+ Step 1: Go to Tab Insert => choose Shapes => then select the object Textbox.

+ Step 2: Use the mouse to draw a large enough rectangle (may contain the table that you need to rotate, please estimate just enough, if it is smaller or larger, we will adjust it later).

+ Step 3: Place the mouse pointer inside the object Textbox just inserted => next, we create a table in Word by going to Tab Insert => choose Table to create a table.

+ Step 4: Now you just work with the table as usual, insert rows, columns, merge cells … and fill in the data as usual.

In case if the newly created table is larger than the outside frame, it will be hidden, now you just need to drag the frame with the mouse. Texbox It’s okay to widen.

Step 5: Drag the mouse on the rotating circular arrow => Hold down the mouse and then rotate vertically, diagonally, horizontally … whatever you want, => then release the mouse, the table will be rotated in the direction you specify.

After you have successfully rotated the table, click on any position (outside the table) and you’re done. However, maybe now your table will have an outer frame that will not look very nice.

So we will hide this outer frame to make it more beautiful.

+ Step 6: Click on the Textbox outside the table => then Go to Tab Format => and choose Shape Outline => choose white so that the outer frame is the same color as the background.

#2. Take a picture of the table and rotate it

In addition to the above method, you can also rotate the table by capturing the table, now our table is a rotatable image file. There are many ways to take a screenshot of the computer screen, but the simplest way is still to use the Paint software available on Windows.

After you have taken a screenshot of the table, and cropped it appropriately, you just need to insert the image into Word and you’re done, you can rotate the image easily.

Note: Because the screenshot key on a desktop computer is different from a laptop, I will show you the most general way anyone can do it.

Perform:

+ Step 1: Open the table to capture, press the key combination Windows + Shift + S => will appear a film covering => now hold the mouse => scan and select the area you want to capture and then release the mouse.

+ Step 2: After capturing it, it will be saved to the computer’s cache, open Paint software to paste it in for editing.

If If you use Windows 10, you can edit it in the window that appears after you use the key combination Windows + Shift + S.

Or Another quick way to open Paint is: Open the Run dialog box (Windows + CHEAP) => then type keyword mspaint => and press Enter is out.

+ Step 3: Press the key combination Ctrl + V to paste the chart we just took MS Paint.

+ Step 4: Save the image to the computer.

+ Step 5: Insert pictures into Word by going to Tab Insert => choose Picture => select the table image you just took earlier.
